I’ve cried a significant amount of tears at least twice in this book. I started reading this thinking it was gonna be a cute fun paranormal MM. I never read an Eagle shifter before, but it’s actually snatching me and damn I was prepared. It’s actually so beautiful.

He wanted food and sex all the time these days. He was on a first-name basis with his right hand, but a man needed food too.

Not connecting with the shifter MC. Also, the shifter explanation seems super convenient to explain a) why this is an m/m universe and b) very misogynist. As if “Women can’t be shifters unless we judge them worthy to carry our babies”, which is a hard no to me reading past book one.
