Very well done commentary structure. 74 footnotes in the first 45 pages - that's a lot of info. Akin's structure and form features several sample outlines from various sources citing the traditional approaches, discourse analysis, and rhetorical criticism is fascinating. Reminds me that there's about a hundred way to slice the Johannine Epistles cake (actually 1 John). His outline combines aspects of each & is good.
