Yea this ain’t my type of book but I tried. Mmc is mercenary helping a woman who just left an abusive marriage they have chemistry and there is spice but he won’t go all the way. There’s drama with the ex sending people after her and we get to hear all the logistics of him saving her. Just meh for me.
