Got my attention. Things aren't what they seem after the seagull war and the inevitable, but erroneous assumption. Looks like Drew and Mack have a good trajectory for solving these dolphin murders!

Great connection to this years' limited snapper season. Character development is good. Gotta love the marina manager and the seagull "confrontation". Real life affect of changes to the fishery, to sportsmen, and to a way of life.

Good start. (Not a spoiler) Interesting hook when victim is a surprise. Like the link between current events and professional sportsmen.
