Status Updates From A Queer and Cozy Winter

The first story, "A Christmas Gift" by Ben Alderson and Laura R. Samotin, was super cozy and super cute with a hint of 🌶 at the end. Not spicy so much as steamy, which was nice considering the length of the short. This story is a mini continuation of The Actor and His Secret. The story was incredibly cute in a Hallmark cheesy sort of way. A fantastic way to start the anthology!

Ive read 4/12 stories now. Briar & the Candle Waltz is my favorite story so far. I frickin love Kellan Graves and need to get to reading The Fox and the Dryad asap. I probably shouldn't have read its epilogue(?) story first oops. Why have 2/4 stories so far been connected to other books? Kinda frustrating tbh, I wonder if the other two also were and I didnt notice.
