I’m struggling with the author’s tone. I had little issue with it in her book The Gospel Comes With A Housekey, and I’m looking forward to reading Five Lies. But her reading of this audiobook is overly dramatic, and I can’t tell which are her current thoughts and which are thoughts she had at the time being narrated. It all seems tarred with the same self-righteous, judgmental brush. Ironic.

The author is offering both personal and scripture-based thoughts challenging her own worldviews as someone outside the family of God.
She time jumps back and forth a bit so that’s a little confusing.
So far, I’m finding this a very interesting read, but I am having to take it one bite at a time, as she is so intellectual and analytical that each “bite” is pretty info-heavy.
