Status Updates From The Ryrie Study Bible New A...

Reading a different version of the Bible this year. My regular Bible is the New International Version, which is a phrase by phrase translation. This Bible was gifted to me by a friend who passed from cancer years ago and is a word by word translation. I’m reading along with The Bible Recap by Tara Leigh Cobble in the YouVersion app. I’m excited to do this with my daughter and her two teens!

The Word truly is living! This is my second run at the Holy Bible and already it means so much more than it did the first time. Ryrie stays along a strong Protestant path in his study while allowing room for variance is lesser matters, like eschatology.
