Status Updates From Forgiveness 4 You

I wanted to like this book. It’s interesting but honestly I struggled a lot with it. I did not like any of the characters. I wanted to like Gabe but I lost respect for him early on. It’s a did not finish for me.

I want to give up on this. The author's holding off details for too freaking long. There's a very careful balance in that, telling just enough to keep a reader interested and waiting too long so that when the reveal finally comes its a letdown because nothing is worth waiting that long for. There's also some poor characterization of the women in this. And the MC is strange. But I've gotten too far into it.

Not sure how I feel about this one. Monetizing, commodifying, something sacred feels sacriligious but I'm a bit interested to see where this goes.
