Angel Ackerman is 62% done

I’m impressed with Penn’s cover design, her detail and her focus on the plot. But she writes with such economy of words and simplicity that it doesn’t hold my interest. She’s successful and I see why but the work seems formulaic and whether you skim or read closer it seems like the story has the same value.
