I'm seriously so bored of it. This mf really thinks there are women so deprived of male sexual attention that they go psychotic. He writes about it all the time. Men will fuck a hot pocket. Male sexual attention is so abundant as to be virtually worthless on its own. Also no woman as smart as Victoria (or either of the Olivias or any other hysteric he writes) would go that insane for lack of dick.

Neiderman looooooves to write single women as bitter, ugly, miserable women who are jealous of pretty women no matter how successful and intelligent they are and act like he's being feminist for doing so.

I'm trying really hard not to judge and to put myself in Rain's shoes but unfortunately putting myself in her shoes is making me judge harder because in her shoes there is no way on God's green earth I would ever sign those papers. Like she knows this is a mistake even as she's doing it. What the hell.

THAT'S why she's not doing anything to get herself out of this situation??? Is a physical therapist sleeping with a consenting and grown ass client even that big of a scandal? And if so, why wasn't she selflessly thinking of how the scandal would affect him when she was fucking him? Why only now? Right, because it's just a dumb excuse to keep her around when she is perfectly capable of leaving.

This is what I mean when I say this mf can't write consistent characters for shit. She spent the last two books not caring about clothes and now suddenly she's scolding herself for not buying any new clothes since her accident and talking about how important it is that she wear pretty shoes.

Idk why Rain is acting like Victoria's response to all of this is heartless because tbh this is the most I've ever felt for her.

I'm glad she's actually responding to a tragedy but it's weird that she's more upset by this death than her sister's.

Is nobody gonna mention that even if he wasn't her brother he'd still be an insane attempted rapist?
Like being her brother is only like one quarter of what was wrong with him coming into her room naked and trying to rape her.

This is so stuuuupiiiiiiid. first of all nobody cares enough about Brody to make this an emotionally compelling plot point. Second of all this is a dumb death.

I'd honestly respect her motivation more if it was pure greed. Right now it feels like the real reason she's not accepting the compromise is because the book would be over if she did. "it's what grandma would have wanted" who cares. You knew her for 45 seconds.
