Status Updates From Nearly Beloved

Okay, well written and intriguing but.... Does this girl seriously not see what a jerk her dad was to her mom? I mean, I get why she likes hanging with him more than with her mom, but every time she recalls a memory, her dad is being a jerk to her mother. I understand why she, as a child, might not have seen it, but at 30 she should probably get it.
