Colonel Fitzwilliam’s story: The Colonel’s Conviction
Number one issue with this story is the author gave colonel fitzwiliam the first name Benjamin but proceeded to call him Benj throughout the book…. way too modern!! Also the author made him so weak and kinda pathetic. The female lead even calls him a ninny at one point. Speaking of the main female lead she was a little annoying with her fake freedom plot.

Lydia’s Story: Sisters and Second Chances
I really liked that Lydia is still has an animal spirt but had more sense in regard to how the world works. The nightly swim story is odd choice but kinda fun when she started to teach both of them how to swim. Lord Thomas Kingston is perfectly adorable!!! And his daughter and Lydia’s charge Chloe is so sweet. I love how they meet in the beginning too!

Kitty’s Story: Playing Miss Bennet
I like that he understood and saw the real moments of her in between the acting. Especially at the opera when she just loved the play in ernest. Also the end proposal is cute but maybe too much kissing??
Maybe I didn’t like it because it felt like she didn’t really get to know him. She just now knows herself!! Let her be her for a second.

I finished the first (of three) stories, and it didn’t make sense. I thought this story took place after Elizabeth and Jane married Darcy and Bingley. But there is no mention of their advantageous marriages which would have provided excellent connections for her. There is nothing about Lydia and Wickham.
Instead we have Kitty EMPLOYED as a companion to an older lady. No connection to P&P except names.
