I do like the found family aspects in here, and Blake and Mercer are just chef's kiss 😍

I'm still on my train of pain apparently, but at least I get some sexy scenes out of it 🤭😉

I kinda had my doubts when starting that book. But its actually quite okay. The only problem I have is how Mercer's panic attacks are written and how apparently sucking dick gets him out if it.. just get that boy in actual therapy. Dude doesn't have good coping mechanisms and should learn some. (The author said he has questionable coping mech so I was prepared... ig.)

Initial thoughts: It was hard to follow some of the intrigue elements of this book, probably because I'm too dumm for it. Why were so many of the sex scenes so damn internal monologue-y? (Although that's something I've been noticing in a lot of books.) Reminded me a lot of Kayden and Gareth in some ways. Michael >>> Liam, making it a weird mix. Wondering if this is part of an expanded universe. Fun arcs for the chars

This is the first spicy book I feel too dumb to follow. Maybe I'll understand if better on a re-listen.

What's with this absurd case of 'the villain explaining absolutely everything'? Even worse, if he needs him to NOT remember, why is he going on and on prompting him to remember?

I'm coming to realize I find Liam DiCosimo to be a rather weak voice actor, and Gabriel Michael quite a strong one, which is kinda frustrating when you have them both in the same book, alternating chapters between a weak and strong voice actor.

You'd think in the world of this book there's no such thing as stain removal or dry cleaning, or at least that, um, emissions are completely impervious to all forms of stain removal.

Told myself I wouldn't start any new books until finish my current batch of reviews and challenges, then started a new book. At least I finished a review draft first.
