These books keep getting worse....also the power/relationship dynamics between Megan and Greyson are so maddening askew sometimes I just feel like putting the book down and be done with it. But it's the last volume so what the heck.

Finished. Megan finally got her priorities straight. Presumably she and Greyson will live happily ever after. I wish I could be happy for them, but I don't like them enough to think more than that they just deserve each other.

Chapters Eighteen and Nineteen were painful. Megan is an idiot and it was hard to read these chapters and see what she did and how she behaved. TSTL is the phrase that comes to mind. :-(

100+ pages read before sleepytime = goal achieved! I'm enjoying this story, but it's not without disjointed bits. An example: At the end of Chapter Seven (p.72), Megan frees herself from a witch and he goes over the roof instead of her. Then Chapter Eight opens with Greyson and the brothers on the roof with her. Not a problem, but for the fact that we were not told how they knew she was on the roof. :-(

I've managed to read only two chapters so far, but the story seems off to a good start: Megan had a meeting with an FBI Agent; and there's a meeting of the Gretnegs coming up. Should be interesting, hopefully.

4 stars. I loved this trilogy.

You know, I totally see Meg's POV in refusing to change for Greyson who has continually lied to her, and he expects her to give up everything, her humanity, her jobs, in order to marry him, and have children. What are we in the 19th century still?
