Status Updates From Awakened (Anew #1)

the way ian is written sometimes is confusing...and not as in confusing for character development...more like confusing as in he sometimes seems written poorly :/ nonetheless it is turning out to be a much better read then i expected :)

i guess you could say i've been too depressed lately even to read. sleep has over come a lot more then reading. sighs.. this book just isn't taken away from that. but i adjust... it takes a rare book to help take away from the real world...but it's possible.

i've actually wondered if some day people will lose jobs to robots, and the world will begin to have everything done by robots. this story brings up some of my concerns and thoughts... it actually provoked legitimate questions i've had!

still not sure how to feel with this. one moment, i start to like it, the next i find myself bored with it.

oh no. what did i get myself into!? i totally didn't realize this was an erotic novel. i admit i just saw 'sleeping beauty retelling' and then the pretty cover and requested it on netgalley. oops >.>

This relationship is so cringey but I like the whole aspect of a futuristic New York and social hierarchy.

wowza. the polo match and the scene before. wowza. Learning more a tad bit of insight as to why Ian is the way he is. makes me a bit sad, at the same time the fact the he trys so hard to control himself, makes me love him more.
