The mammoths were a bit much but overall how is this book so GOOD

Fake marriage where the two protagonists will be soft and careful with each other. How utterly fascinating. 😒

I have never been so relentlessly fascinated by a concept as I have with every single facet of this book. I’m obsessed.

I can’t believe he didn’t choose to join an Americatown gang. What a baby.

So, this is not good. I don’t know what happened but Pulley’s writing has been going downhill for a while and this is the worst one yet. I’ll still read it though, I’ll still read it. When you write some of my favorite books of all time, you get quite a few second chances. I’m reading Project Hail Mary right now and the difference in scientific knowledge between the two authors (Pulley has none) is vast.
