Our homes are where we can be our true selves, where we seek both relaxation and rejuvenation. It stands to reason that a home that is both efficient and lovely will be a source of profound positive energy.

When faced with putting things on display, the objects in question take one of two paths. The client either finds it sad that they have had something that brings them so much happiness stored away all this time. Or they find that the importance of items they held onto is not as vital when faced with the idea of seeing them every day.

My goal was to brand it like an online store with scheduled events and days where buyers could count on new inventory. There would also be a restructuring of how buyers could pay plus incentives like free shipping on larger orders.

I suggested she rent a 16' portable storage container and have it delivered to her great aunt’s driveway. This would not only act as a sorting station while she emptied each room, but would make the process of shipping items back to Maryland that much easier. What I did not tell her then was that it would also limit the amount she could bring home and make choosing wisely all the more important.

Instead of viewing your life as missing everything you don’t have and still need, switch that perspective to appreciating all you do have and don’t need.

The feeling of having enough of everything or that everything you have is more than good enough breeds contentment and happiness.

This isn’t great, but I’ve DNFed too many books this month already and I should get at least some credit for it.
