ww2 is affecting Louie's life and Louie is sent to war as a bomber.

During part 2 of the book Unbroken, it discusses Louie's crew, the other men who will be flying the plane with him. It also tells about what plane they get, and how to use it. I am really amazed by how brave Louie is. First leaving his family, then going into the military, and last flying a plane called the "Flying Coffin". I really admire his bravery and I wish I could be like him some day.

During part two of the book Unbroken, it discusses how Louiebegins to enjoy his time flying planes. Louie meets this very shy man named Russel Allen Phillips, who is his captain. Louie becomes good friends with Allen and is actually looking forward to learning more. Louie has demonstrated determination because everything he has gone through, he tried his hardest to accomplish.

In part two of the book Unbroken, it is discussing how China is bombing and destroying different countries all over the world. Louie joins the military and becomes a bombiarder. The title of this book is perfect because it explains how strong Louie is. He never gives up and always tries his best.

A great true story about never giving up and keeping your dignity through trials and tribulations.

One of the best YA novels I ever read, I loooved it!

The book Unbroken, by Laura Hillenbrand is about an Italian family that moves to Torrance. The main character Louie is the biggest, baddest, troublemaker ever. Louie steals food, gets in fights, and overall causes a lot of trouble. Louie's siblings names are Sylvia,Virginia, and Pete. If I could be friends with one of his siblings if would be Pete because he is smart, handsome, friendly, nice and charming.

This book continues to suprise me. Louis is now being held hostage at a Japanese prison camp. I hope he gets out or escapes somehow. Louis is a very clever, sneaky person and a fast runner. He was always the troublemaker as a boy. Hopefully he finds his way out of the situation.

Louis Zamperini was a truly inspiring person. His story, Unbroken tells a message about not giving up and being mentally strong even when your not physically. This story takes a lot of curves but all in the right direction which is one of the many reasons why I like it. I highly recommend reading this book.

Louis right after being accepted to compete in the Olympics unfortunately gets enlisted in the army to fight in World War I. This opens up Louie's eyes and makes him more grateful when faced with the struggle of survival. Unbroken is an inspiring shocking true story, and so far I ra
