this is generally how my reading goes...every time I see this listed on my profile it reminds I have to get back to it... I made a little romance detour lol but I would like to finish this and ideally read the entire trilogy!

Thank you for the recommendation! I think I can finally go back and read Jurassic Park [the science speak stopped me from reading it years ago]. This author definitely showed his talent of mixing science with horror and folklore.

This has comfortably settled into my before bed read. I am going to struggle with the scientific words but I do like the story as it unfolds. I can see the strings....

barely scratched the surface of this story before going to bed but I gotta say I am enjoying the immersion, it takes time getting used to the writing for me with new authors and there are a lot of technical words to work through, overall enjoying it so far.
