Just about done. Surprise surprise (sarcasm) music saved the day. (A familiar, if not super common, trope.)
Shock (more sarcasm) the villain survived.
On the bright side, I'm not terribly upset by the survivors.
Time to finish this!

Ok, they have now clearly established how significant the band was, playing between Metallica and Slipnot at a festival. (Even if the point was to have a band which would let people take restroom and snack breaks, that's pretty big)

The druggie is now down and the jock is acting out of character. I'm rooting for the bears.

They keep killing off the wrong characters.... I mean, the survivors did need the info dump, but still, the author keeps killing off the less annoying characters...

I've reached part three. I think it might be speeding up a bit.

Shock. I never would have guessed Karin went through that. (Sarcasm)
Add in some mandatory fanboying.
This book trudges on... Right now I'm leaning towards 2 stars.
