i need to step away from this author

before i try another from them

at times the writing was decent and or passable

but then more than a handful of moments where it was stupid and cringe

overall
unbelievable

so despite having things i liked more than bunker down
i kind of want to rate this 2.9 stars
if even that

i predict i’m getting used to this authors writing style
which isn’t saying much bc it ain’t much

which means it’s already tiring

this author just makes teases of these stories

i think i felt the same for the bunker down book

the story plot was just a kind of tray to carry in the constant sex and orgies

boring.

i’m reluctant to rate it even a flat three stars
rn i feel it’s not as good as the other book

also my stomach hurts and i’m hormonally off balance i think

the copious repetitive sex scenes got old fast
at least the latter half i was skim reading or outright skipping

callum i barely recall bc he was “last”
and his character barely got anything on page ans with the fmc to be memorable

i feel bleh
like this barely scratched an itch

up in the air ending and story conclusion i’m starting to realize i despise

bc of the potential wasted

i finished the bunker book yesterday
and already don’t recall anything really
other than a vague feeling if not being able to differentiate the mmcs

esp compared to the ones in this book
which is a positive or point in its favor ig

the sweet musician Noah
the gym rat Orion
the sophisticated therapist Elliot
the bad boy forget his name Callum
the russian-a tease cliffhanger ish

i forget fmcs name too

a night and morning it took to finish this read

already my mind is forgetting stuff

i think i liked the bunker down book more
the whole concept of that

though i did appreciate this rh theme in the most normal ish setting
as in no supernatural or alien or magical adjacent storyline to back it up

this bitch is crazier than the bunker one though
i didnt really like her as much either
but she was fine
meh

*sigh* I finished this book awhile ago and I just wasn’t ready to let it go.
Absolutely phenomenal.
Seriously, go read it.
