Strong first chapter, the action is excellent and the pace is good. It’s been a while since I read 60 pages nonstop. The two main characters are interesting enough and very good for each other, the way Sun Ce was supportive of Zhou Yu all throughout the chapter was so sweet. I won’t lie, I wasn’t spoiled on what happens in the end, but reading some of the reviews here has me guessing…

*sigh* I didn’t do enough research into this series. I’ve been told it’s angsty & a bad ending. I want something that will give me butterflies not trauma… I think I may have to DNF.
