Status Updates From With Mercy's Eyes

I called it. A character death I did not want. But I’m trusting it will make sense by the end. This book is fabulous for sporadic/light reading on a busy schedule.

This is a really good book yall.

Still enjoying how this unfolds and how the different timelines and character identities connect. Absorbing it more slowly due to a busy work schedule but it seems like a story that will stick with me forever.

I am really enjoying this story and it’s characters. Text messaging is not shown in italics, so it is sometimes hard to follow text convos in the story. But otherwise it’s well written and moved quickly. Emotional detail is slightly lacking also, but that may be a temporary thematic choice that reflects Lane’s empty life.

Wow. I know I’m not far in but the tough themes are so well written.

This book is much heavier than I thought it would be! But I’m going to keep reading!
