Status Updates From Penned by Mr Darcy: A Roman...

Every scene involving Wickham has some irksome referency implying Wickham has already read P&P, or characters around him have also read the novel, knowing things they should not… it’s so weird !

Also, characters seem to forget what others have told them only two paragraphs ago, or act surprised over things they shouldn’t… poor editing, I belive !

Darcy keeps a diary and writes hot & heavy fantasies about Elizabeth. That she would accidentally get a glimpse of it is part of the trope. What I didn’t appreciate is that later Lizzy would sort of STEAL the diary and read it against every rule of honour & decency ! She keeps lying to cover her transgression…
