Almost done. It's different than I'd initially thought it'd be about. It's less about the relationship between Dalton and McKenna, or even Dalton and Amelia. It's more about getting them both out.

Wow. 4 pages explaining McKenna's background. Finally. And Jesus H Christ, she has lived a LIFE full of turmoil and pain, enough to make me want to cry for her.

The story keeps me on my toes, but there are so many grammar mistakes that it's just almost impossible to ignore.

What happened to McKenna's sister? Was she bought and sold too?

I'm going through this book pretty fast. Cause it's so good and scary and I pray that McKenna and Amelia make it out alive.

idk if I like that it's the same scene in a different POV in another chapter. We already know what happened on the dance floor.

Double POV between Dalton (Millie's brother) and McKenna, but in this case, there has to be. He's the only connection to the outside world.
