*Spoilers in comments* overall a pretty good thriller, with a couple of plot twists that made the storyline quite engaging. The audiobook narrator had a very heavy Scottish accent, which made it a bit challenging, but overall I like the story and the writing. Plus, the main characters were overall likable. Would recommend.

The Devil’s cutis the % of whisky that seeps into the wood of the barrel as it ages. The angel’s cut is the % that evaporates…..nothing to do with the plot really, just interesting.
