Chapter 6 was definitely my favorite so far, aside from the weird fly excerpt and the compassion for bullies. I understand that the message of the book is kindness and finding compassion for everyone and every walk of life, but sometimes people are just assholes and just don’t deserve your understanding.

I like the case studies, but I’m not a fan of the emphasis on mindfulness and kindness, which seems to be what the theory is based upon.

The book seems redundant at times when emphasizing certain points or defining terms through examples, but it’s an interesting read so far in terms of content.

already feeling the "written by a man" vibes and he hasn't even said anything wrong. I have to be more open-minded
