I do wish there’d been more buildup with Chelenko - the sudden emotional shift feels a bit abrupt. Still, I’m eager to see how the love triangle unfolds and hope it gets even more complicated.

This story gripped me from the start - the stakes are clear early on, building instant tension. The prose is light and easy to read, making it a smooth, engaging experience. Some dialogue is left untranslated in German, which might challenge some readers, but adds a layer of realism I really enjoyed. I’m hooked, especially dying to know why Matthias didn’t follow her in the beginning.
