Status Updates From Unlikely Pairing

Just finished chapter 1: Fork in the Road (for which Book Funnel doesn't give page numbers or percentage complete, so I'll use the chapter number as the %): I'm intrigued by Sylvia's writing style (conversational and upbeat) and am really looking forward to finding out what happens when "the Gavel of Gourmet is put into a pressure cooker with a culinary rock star." We shall see. :)
