This book is testing my shit. Testing my ability to like unlikable characters. And very few books do that. But the way the Captain treats Tom, and John..I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship.

I'm hoping he can be redeemed, but I'm balancing on a knife's edge right now. I'm 100% furious and want him to suffer like he makes everyone else suffer for his pleasure, this is not how a good dom acts.

21% in, and the book essentially consists of a series of sex scenes.

I really do enjoy this book, even tho it's frustrating at times. Now I'm at a point tho where I know some bad things happen and it'll take a long time to resolve them and some will not get resolved until the next book so I'm a bit stuck.

This book is a snorefest.

I hate that I want to listen to this considering I gave book one only two stars. But I have a soft spot for Tom and Jon. BUT GOD DAMN DO I HATE THE CAPTAIN SO MUCH. Saying "I have to leave this room or I will hurt you" isn't romantic or sexy. God, I wish Tom and Jon would throw this idiot overboard and take over. GAH HE IS THE WORST I HATE HIM SO MUCH.
