I'm a bit shocked that this is read by 7th and 8th graders (12-14 yrs old) in German schools. It's far too graphically violent and harrowing for that age group, I'd say, despite all the violent vid games kids today play. I'd say 16 at the minimum.

Inhalt super und komplex geschrieben, jedoch gefällt mir der Stil nicht. Eine Gegenüberstellung von Grausamkeit mit schönen metaphorischen Ausschweifungen ist natürlich irgendwo ein interessanter Kontrast, jedoch kann es für mich auch manchmal "nur" grausam sein.
