I really love the story. But when she starts talking to her friends in the Gen Z verbiage I want to rip my hair out

I literally cannot handle the overly Gen Z conversation tone. Nobody talks like this my goddd.. I feel like the author is trying very hard to over enunciate their age and dynamic. But it feels forced

The writing style is very abrupt. It doesn’t flow well. The way the author over explains or describes the exact brand and type of something is so off putting. I’m wondering if this is the authors way of showing readers what a “spoiled rich brat” the FMC is? By detailing what expensive items the FMC uses?? Either way it’s lowkey annoying
