There are a couple of times when it seems like the author meant to edit parts of the story but left parts in so it awkwardly repeats and is confusing.

There is a real lack of attention to detail throughout the book. Example she’s handed peony flowers but when he gets there, they’re roses. That happens throughout with several things. Even the locket, it will be in her pocket but then she is wearing it.

Page 95-96 have several typos where the scene is retold 3 times.

Dropped all my current reads to finish this and its worth it
