this book is getting really good , all the characters have found a place in my heart so far , and it definitely keeps me up at night, wanting to read more but having to sleep

Shit just got real!

Serrena is infuriating. “I raised myself” “i am kind to “common-born”” — proceeds to harshly insult one…. “I’ve worked for this, I’ve survived” - all while having many allies in the trials that no one else would have access to etc. She’s getting better - but dang does she have times of infuriating angst. She also sounds a bit like Dani and she’s gonna go full postal will power…

Characters are wonderful. Thoroughly enjoy.

I did get stupid confused from 177-179, but then realized that I missed the “Echoplain” mention 😆 I’ll just reread that part when I’m not overstimulated in a hotel room with my parents, TV on and SO much stimulation.
