Status Updates From Shadow Ticket

One review described the prose as dense. That's an understatement. At almost 50%, I gave up. No idea what the plot is. Character names are frequently interchanged with nicknames making what plot and character there is difficult to follow. The prohibition era dialogue and slang are interesting for a bit but I lost interest as it became yet another challenge in reading the book.

"Una Estatua de Libertad hecha con gelatina. ¿Por dónde empiezas a comértela? ¿Por la cabeza? ¿Por la antorcha?"
