Status Updates From Howl

Frank finds it frightening. He has heard seasoned protestors describing the joyous, peaceful nature of the marches they go on. But they are describing what it’s like to be in the warm companionable belly of a demo, where everyone agrees with everyone. It’s at the edges that such marches show their rage, at the point where the marchers encounter people who are not like them.

He bowed, spilling his yarmulke. You have to learn how to wear these things. You can't just wake up from a coma in Mount Sinai Hospital speaking Hebrew and think you know how to manage the headgear of Judaism.

"the story of how the world lost its mind", yes give it to me Howard, I trust you completely to tell this story, who else could even have gotten a publisher for it (still not one in America, but still, published in the UK!)
