Really enjoying the transgressive Palahniuk vibes of this novel and the deeply flawed protagonist. Like with a lot of my favourite types of novels, it's taking its time to build the tension and atmosphere while delivering on the creepy factor. Can't wait to see what happens.

hmm….
a difficult one to rate. I don’t regret my time with this, but idk if I really Liked it tbh. Something very pessimistic and existential (obviously a fellow araki head) and some tasty turns of phrase (“the effigy of Christ presiding over this paltry court of our anguish” delightful 2 me) but overall…kinda go girl give us nothing underneath the grief & nonmonogamy pitches 🤷🏻♀️
