I think I’m realizing that one of the reasons I may be struggling with this book is that I’m not naturally picturing in my mind what the author is describing. I’ve found myself on several times having to re-read a description and intentionally try to form the picture in my mind. A 5-star book for me is one that I can easily, without thought or effort, picture. As clear as day with ease

I can’t decide how I feel about this book and the characters yet…I’m not sure if it’s because I’m eager to read Hello Stranger coming in the mail soon, to read one of the new books I bought recently, that I don’t like this author’s writing, or something else I can’t put my finger on, but I’m just not feeling it…
