Oh thank goodness, it ended well.

Heroine being angry for the better half of the book was exhausting.

She is stupid. Sorry, she just is. I do not like her, but I like the writing and the hero enough to finish the book to find out what happens even if she annoys the ever loving crap out of me.

Previous update should have been here. Accidentally hit page count instead of % read. How annoying. Stupid fingers.

Probably a good thing that things start to change at this point. Expected since it past the halfway mark but also a good thing because the before was getting tedious.

The lady doth protest too much. It’s juvenile.

The heroine’s persistent hate and anger is annoying, too deeply ingrained, and the fact that she holds on to it as hard as she does, is understandable for me as a person, but unpleasant for me as a reader. Of all the books I’ve read in the series so far, I like this the least. It’s a good thing I didn’t start with this book, I would have DNFed the book and quit the series without a backward glance.

The whole revenge/hate/attraction thing is ridiculous. And the heroine is way too stubborn, so much so that she’s bordering annoying. It’s a good thing I like the hero. For a monster, at least he’s honest and not constantly lying to himself the way the heroine does. Makes me want to smack her.
