This book is about Wren and Arden. They stole my heart. The pairings in this book are different than the first book and JF Johns is a genius for doing it. Character have gone onto different paths from the first book: Mal and Thanatos, Alina and Hessa, Bryn and Kage, Kai and Dawn, and back to Mal and Ash. I’m glad Mal and Ash interact in the sequel. Kai and Dawn have an intriguing bulky romance and I hate bullies!
