So far, I absolutely love Lemon. She has such spark and energy and Furyon is perfectly feisty. I’ve been devouring this on all my flights lately and I cannot get enough.

I am enjoying this so far, even though the pacing of the primary romantic plotline is a bit off. I love the author’s effort to really pull us into this world. But I do think, so far, that the entire romantic plotline is moving at an astronomical pace that just doesn’t feel right. I feel like there was more opportunity to really make them bond earlier.

I'm really struggling to get into the story of this one: narration is not a true duet. Each performer reads all the voices found within the chapter of the male or female alternating POV's, so sometimes Samantha reads for the male character (very curious how she did this), and Oliver gives Lemon this breathy, softspoken voice that doesn't really match what Samantha's portraying. It's not enjoyable.
