I'm gonna say it now...this book is rocking, right now (one quarter in).

Loving all the different storylines. The factions. The characters...and all their intimate struggles.

Also, there's something going on...and it's going to be bad for peace. We all know that's about to happen. Right?

I really like how there's a few pages of the recap from the previous book. I obviously didn't need it, since I just finished the first book (today).

It is interesting to see how the main characters are in different situations and moods, since the end of the first book. Itula is pressuring Magon to go on another adventure, and he's reluctant to leave.
