I think the parents are in on all of this. The drugs, the cosmetics, the pressure on Phoenix; and something is going to happen if she goes away. I don’t like it one bit 😖😣

I don’t like that the mob boss is using the nicknames the boys have for her. It irks me.

Loved that scene with Maverick. Getting his POV and then hers through out gave really good perspective. I’m glad he also got to talk it out and gave time with her alone. Now it’s time for Con and Phoenix to talk and Phoenix and Atticus to spend some time together. I do love that they are finally working together as well, especially with everything going crazy

So I thought the mob she owes money to stole the drugs from the Blackvine Syndicate, but now it sounds like they are the syndicate? I’m not even sure what they want anymore. They didn’t want money when Con tried to pay for her so….

It’s time for Con and Phoenix to have a conversation and get over the hate. It’s exhausting.

Phoenix is really starting to piss me off. Why is she going out late at night by herself when there are people after her, that left a dead body on the table. Why is she still lying and hiding things? Why are there no honest conversations?

They’ve truly broken her and Storm is trying so hard to fix it. Hope they realise, especially Con and they grovel

I like how she thinks but it’s weird she is now threatened by Sarah, when it didn’t come across that way in the last book
