Slow and dull. DNF

There’s absolutely no chemistry between the two main characters at this point when suddenly they start being friendly, almost affectionate, and then in less than half a chapter, BAM 💥 spicy scene 🌶️ out of nowhere, which was very dissatisfying to read as there had been zero build up to it. The book did take a turn and get better after that point, but honestly I was considering DNFing at about 40-43%.
