So like 3 things converged at once and I picked this up because the author narrates it. I knew of the Armenian genocide because of mentions on the Behind the Bastards podcast, although I’m not sure yet if they’ve covered it on its own.
And, whilst looking for books by this author, this one seemed like the best for me to read given the history and non fiction element.

Maybe I do think "the victim was already condemned to death for crimes against humanity" ought to be a legal defence in murder trials lol
