I understand there’s build up and we’re learning of the ways that were lost due to a whole bunch of dead people’s greed and stupidity — so we HAVE to learn it as slowly as the characters. I get it. BUT HOLY FUCKING SHIT HWERE IS THE FAST FORWARD!?

There’s a character named “Jesse” in this book and he’s become a main character.

Reading such an American/English name in a very heavily Asian-setting book is jarring. Not a bad thing or anything but still.
