hmhmhm, I simply wanted to learn more about my favorite video game like any other 20s something delinquent, but no, I had to learn of this mysterious Russian immigrant that has been pulling my family's strings since the 1960s. Now for the sake of my family and friends I will need to delve into the world of this "Atlas" and his brother "Fountainhead"....
Wish me luck

“We are in time, limited in our ability to know, and not as powerful as we think we are.”
I feel like they missed an opportunity to touch on BioShock 2. It would have been good for them to add it into the subject matter since it was about choices and whatnot.
Oh well.Perhaps someone will talk about it later??? There's still six chapters left, after all.

"Plasmids give the people who use them fantastical abilities."

I love how James Cook chose to focus on the Incinerate! Plasmid. 🔥

"What would happen if I took off the leash, and I found I was... as obedient as ever?' This quote speaks volumes because it reinforces the idea that even outside of a literal cage, one can still be caged."

"Much of the storytelling in BioShock is spent explaining how and why things went wrong which is, as you know, a fascinating tale of unchecked ambition, betrayed trust, and hidden identities."
"If we remain blind to the emotional side of human nature, no ideology can save us. Life isn't a matter of reason vs. emotion, but rather reason as emotion."
