I am cackling at this book. Hell sounds awesome (like in a terrible way but still).

I fear that this description of the MMC “bird’s-nest hair, scarecrow limbs balanced atop a rickety bicycle” is my favorite and I will subsequently love him. Spence Reid in another life

Taking this slow but it is interesting

so far I like it (this is my first R F Kuang book) but I will be reading the poppy war afterwards
