Status Updates From Sugar Rush

I can tell I’m gonna need some more omegaverse books after this…

Soft dnf at 39%. Idk if the ennui has got its hooks in me or what but I am STRUGGLING. I find it hard to read books where one MC fights it so hard. If someone rejected me as often as Kieran rejects Jordy I would have a complex, a therapist, and a strong desire to go out and find a man who cares. Jordy has god tier self esteem to get through this shit but I don’t have the bandwidth right now.

Jordy is endlessly flirty:

“I’m going to hurt you.”

“Like in a sexy way?” I pressed.

“I’m going to throw you out of a window,” he corrected me flatly. “And stop trying to turn me on, I have to go downstairs and eat.”

“I have something you can eat,” I said, then squealed when he grabbed me around the waist and threw me over his shoulder before rushing over to my bedroom window.

Well so far this is pretty damn cute. I like Jordy and Kieran.

“Jordy, we shouldn’t be doing this,” I said, but couldn’t make a move to push him off. “I know that’s what you think,” he responded quietly, but only tightened his hold around me. “You’re just wrong. I don’t know what else to say.”
