Status Updates From You Wish

I tried really hard to like this, but it was honestly one of the worst I've read this year. The chemistry between Jake and Georgia was basically non-existent. They didn’t really resolve the issues they had. I couldn't even really see how they'd been dating before - we don't get a whole lot of their past and we don't get enough of their present for me to actually root for it.

Don't get me started on Rachel. Sigh.

This is rough and if it wasn't an ARC I probably would've DNF'd by now unfortunately.

I want to enjoy this but ooooof the struggle is so real right now

I just don't know if I'll finish this one - I hate DNFing an ARC but for my own personal reasons I'm not sure I can get past the geography in this storyline. That and the use of the term "lady parts" 🥴

I'm going to pause a day or two and let it settle.
